Looking through photographs from the 1950s, I found myself drawn to a world just beyond the familiar—one that seemed to hold its own private signals. In this painting, blue, yellow, green, and earthy forms overlap and lock together, while fine pink, white, and black lines slip between them. I let the shapes gather without settling into a single reading. Against the pale ground, they feel like fragments of a message: vivid, connected, and still a little mysterious.
